We warmly welcome you to the official website of the Congregation of St. Gemma Galgani. Inspired by the life and spirituality of St. Gemma Galgani, our Congregation is deeply rooted in the Passion of Christ and committed to living out a charism of mercy, love, and union with the Crucified Lord.
Founded in 1947 in Kondoa, Tanzania, the Sisters of St. Gemma Galgani have grown from humble beginnings into a vibrant religious family serving in various dioceses within Tanzania and beyond. Through our ministries in education, healthcare, pastoral work, social outreach, and youth formation, we strive to respond to the spiritual and human needs of our communities with compassion and dedication.
